We’re incredibly excited to announce that Pretzel has teamed with the amazing people over at Muxy be part of the new Twitch Interactive Beta.

We’re so excited, and like Morty, we can barely contain ourselves.

What is Twitch Interactive?

This week we’re beta testing some exciting new interactive features on Twitch. When you start to see interesting tools pop up on a handful of channels, don’t panic!

We’ve partnered with some great Twitch contributors in an effort to make it easier than ever for you to interact directly with your favorite streamers. Learn more about the games they’re playing, cast a vote, play mini-games, work as a team to achieve group goals, and more. There’s a lot to try, so start exploring! Or, see the full list of participating channels at the bottom of this article…

More information is available from Twitch’s Blog Post.

How is Pretzel involved?

Pretzel built two components for Twitch Interactive. If you’re on a Muxy Twitch Interactive enabled stream.

Pretzel Rocks — Now Playing Overlay

You should now see Pretzel Rocks — Now Playing icon that you use to open up the Now Playing overlay which you can use to drag around the screen.

Pretzel Rocks — Now Playing Interactive Panel

The Now Playing panel sits below your stream and automatically updates to show the last 4 songs that have played on your channel.

How do I get it?

Currently Twitch has limited which streamers can use these interactive experiences. Hopefully they open it up to everyone quickly!

Muxy has a page to see who is live now. Go check someone out.

I have a really cool idea!

We want to hear about it! Hit us up our Twitter or join our Discord!

Cheers,
The Pretzel Team
